Yohaku Washi Tape – Schedule

“I was remembering the botanical encyclopedia and how I finished the design in one goit brought back memories of a stationery store I stopped by one day in London. In Europe, even now (probably), you dont often find the same variety of functional stationery as you do in Japan. That shop in London stirred something nostalgic in me. I bought a simple schedule book there, just a grid for each months calendar, but I remember using it carefully. Its cover featured a Dutch painting I had seen in an art museumdeep purple and wine-colored flowers, so vivid and memorable. I dont usually use purple in the things I wear or the colors I choose (though sometimes when I mix colors, they unintentionally lean that way). It makes me think of who I was then and who I am nowthe younger me, trying so hard to create something, and the current me, who may have taken a detour but still managed to shape it into something real.
