TheTrue Measure Ruler is an award-winning product released by Kokuyo. Every year Kokuyo hosts a product design competition and gathersinnovative stationery design submissions from all over the world. This ruler is designed by Hiroaki Sakai in 2014, which improves the accuracy ofscale marks on rulers.
Ordinary rulers use thick lines to showcase scale marks, in which the width of theline itself creates a 0.1 to 0.2 mm error. On the contrary, this redesigned rulerdisplaysfaces instead of lines. It uses the boundary of each black block to accurately indicate unit length, and even providesminimum measurements down to 0.5mm.
