Furukawa paper Letter Sets are made with Mino washi paper, a traditional Japanese paper with over 1000 year history. Each set has a different design theme but all the papers and envelopes come with an illustrated pattern that is adorable and very charming.This series uses Ochimizu-gami, which is a type of Japanese paper in which water is dropped onto the surface when thin paper is made to create a pattern. The paper is characterized by its lace-like pattern with holes in the surface.
