The original Bullet Space Pen was conceived in July of 1948 by Paul Fisher. Fisher Space Pen – Original Astronaut is the model that was used on the Apollo 7 space mission in 1968 after 2 years of testing by NASA, and has been used on all manned space flights since then.

The pen writes nice. The refill pushes the ink out smoothly, and because of the design of the tip, you can write in a wider range than typical finer tip pens. We also like the finish of this particular style. Matte blank, simple, portable with a slight weight.
