Along the coast of Toyama, Japan the namesake for this new and unique Collection variant the water is illuminated by a mysterious blue sheen on spring nights. This rare and spectacular phenomenon is called “bioluminescence” and is caused by a certain species of squid. Thousands upon thousands of points of light perform a captivating spectacle upon the water surface, and are mimicked by the high-quality plastic of this fountain pen. Depending on the particular light irradiation, the pearly green pigments sparkle more or less intensively. The overall design is completed with silver accentsandcolor-matching packaging that is reminiscent of the shimmering waves of water.

Capped, the pen is about 4 inches long, and when uncapped and writing, with the cap placed on the backside of the pen, the pen is lengthened to be about 5 inches, giving it a comfortablesize and balance in the hand.
